JUSTICE SERVED

"Justice Served" challenges systemic issues of police brutality and demands accountability for crimes committed against innocent civilians. Through my work, I invite viewers to reflect on their role in shaping society and confront the devastating impact of police brutality.

The torn newspaper and scattered red dots symbolize the chaos and violence that perpetuate these crimes. The figures in the foreground show a handcuffed police officer being led away, signifying a shift in power dynamics and accountability.

The background, composed of torn and pasted newspaper, represents the media attention surrounding these incidents. The scattered red dots, like bullet wounds, signify the lives lost. The larger blue dot in the top right corner represents the magnitude of change required to address police brutality. The figure in the police uniform is handcuffed, indicating justice has been served, and the other figure leads the officer away, symbolizing accountability.

Through this artwork, I hope to inspire change and encourage a dialogue that leads to a more just and equitable society.
