Inspired by the Piney Point wastewater reservoir disaster in Florida and the Fukushima nuclear disaster in Japan, this piece challenges the notion that dilution is always the solution to pollution. Both of these events demonstrate the catastrophic consequences that can result from inadequate management of industrial waste and the need for more responsible and sustainable practices.
