Celebrating Global Creativity: A UNESCO Art Showcase at Yeiser

I'm thrilled to announce that two of my artworks are currently on display at the Yeiser Art Center's "Creative City Collaborations" exhibition in Paducah, KY. This unique event marks Paducah's decade-long journey as a UNESCO Creative City of Crafts & Folk Art. Artists from Paducah and other UNESCO Creative Cities globally have come together to showcase their pieces, each representing a fragment of their journey and creativity.

"Fragments of Reflection" dives deep into my experiences in Manises, Spain. With vivid memories flowing through the canvas, it reflects the unpredictability of memories, the beauty of the unexpected, and the profound tales that shape our reflections. FragmentsOfReflection

In contrast, "Santa Lexie dels pebrots, gambes, pop, formatge, i petites coses cruixents" is a playful yet poignant homage to my gastronomic adventures in Spain. It weaves humor, cultural appreciation, and the delightful tales of shared meals and memories. A testament to the radiant moments and the bonds forged over a dining table. SantaLexie

Join us on October 6th, from 5 pm to 7 pm, at the Yeiser Art Center. Immerse yourself in a tapestry of global creativity, complete with refreshments and an improvised cello performance by Seth Murphy. I'd be thrilled to share these stories with you in person and discuss the inspirations behind my pieces. Looking forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new art enthusiasts!
