On March 7th, 2008, the Northern Sentry, a local newspaper, ran a feature titled "Youth Art Month features Hargrove," which showcased my artwork. The article included three images of my work, one of me cutting out vinyl stickers, another of me explaining my artwork to young children, and the third displaying "Western Machine." Despite being a full-time Airman and college student, I was a dedicated and hardworking artist, as noted in the article. My artwork was also exhibited in the "Art Under Construction" event at the Taube Museum of Art in Minot, North Dakota, as part of National Youth Arts Month. The piece also mentioned that my art had been displayed in galleries in Alaska and Nashville and that I had plans to create more art for the Nashville art scene.
